Captain Holly is one of the tertiary heroes in the Richard Adams novel, and its film adaptation, Watership Down. The former captain of his own warren, Captain Holly, along with fellow teammates Silver and Big Wig, joins the Watership Down warren, led by Hazel and his rabbit companions. In spite of his initial aggressive hostility towards Hazel, he later learns to trust him and follow commands from him. Captain Holly becomes involved in the conflict between the heroes and the villains in Heroes vs. Villains War.
