Commodore James Norrington is an officer in the British Royal Navy and the would-be lover of Elizabeth Swann. It is his duty to keep the waters of the Caribbean Sea safe from pirates, including the adventurous Captain Jack Sparrow and the bloodthirsty Captain Barbossa. A long-standing rival of Captain Sparrow, Commodore Norrington's heart is in the right place, but his quest for vengeance takes him down a dark path. He appears in Disney Heroes vs Villains, but which side he will take remains to be seen.
