The Friends

The Friends on the Other Side are malevolent evil spirits who grant potent magic powers in exchange for soul deals. They are usually seen aiding Dr. Facilier in his battles and are the secondary villains in Disney's The Princess and The Frog.

Switching Sides

They first appear in the first round of the war, alongside the Doctor. However, they are contacted by Mok Swagger, who makes the a better offer. They then decide that Faciler has outlived his usefullness. They then turn on him, and send his sould to the Underworld, much to Mok's delight.

Banishing the Demon

However, their relationship with Mok is quickly strained as Mok begins his plan of summoning the Demon Gigantic. Seeing that Mok has gone way too far, they once again side with a newly ressurected Facilier. Then, using a powerful voodoo ritual, they send the huge demon back to hell, as Faciler evens the score with Mok. For the next duration of the war, they once again supply Faciler with magic items and shadow demons.

Feeding Time

The Friends are present during the battle, supplying Faciler once again. This time, Faciler gives them a gift. As Faciler battles the punk-rock ghost, Ember McLain, Faciler uses magic powders against her which leave her powerless. He then sacrifaces her, feeding her essence to the Friends.

Destruction

The Friends are caught off guard after the battle, and are suprised as Mok himself invades the Underworld. Though they manage to scare off the Schlepper Brothers, the Friends are soon obliterated by Mok's newfound powers.

Re-joining Facilier

Meanwhile, Facilier learned from Hoagy of Grimhilde's meeting with Narissa. Declaring he was no one's servant, Facilier decided to reestablish his pact with the Friends on the Other Side.

Helping Facilier

Seeing that tensions were growing among her allies, Queen Grimhilde held a feast in her English castle to put them more at ease. However, when Ratcliffe's jesters began mocking Facilier for his defeat at the hands of the Horned King and the perceived loss of his magic, Facilier's resentment boiled over and he revealed the return of his Friends on the Other Side. Seeking to make Grimhilde pay for making him her pawn, Facilier had the Friends drive her insane. In her madness, Grimhilde saw Ratcliffe as a hideous muck monster and Prince John as a demonic cat, before believing she had turned back into her hag form. With the festivities in chaos, Facilier disappeared to seek out Narissa.

Freed the most powerfull shadow

Dr Facilier discussed with his Friends and allies the continuing rebellion and decided with his Friends to unleash the most powerful shadow known to man.

Vs Babidi

Dr. Facilier decides that is time, to start to avenge Hades with his Friends of the Other Side. Babidi with his crystal ball contacts the Doctor friends and propose them a better offer, but first the friends want to see Babidi's powers seeing no other option Babidi teleports in the Voodoo Emporium and confront the witch doctor. Is Facilier capable of defeating this Wizard or does Babidi has a trick up his sleeve?

Battle with Bowser's Forces

Now Devimon and Bowser attack Maleficent's forces. Mal and his allies do there best to defeat Devimon's allies, Bowser releases his children to help him. Meanwhile Ice Devimon and Puppetmon join the fray to eliminate this powerful enemies. As things are heating up the doctor friend's arrive too. Will Mal's forces rule supreme?

Devouring some souls

As the ghost pirates attacked Facilier, the Shadowman used his voodoo powers to trap them and gave them to his Friends on the Other Side who devoured them.

Talking with Dr.Facilier

Dr. Facilier is warned by The Friends on the Other Side to get his act together and collect more souls. The Shadow Man proceeds to turn to the cards which tell him that aligning with two unlikeable allies will be the key. And the cards don't lie..

Vs Ash

Ash arrives in the voodoo emporium, finally finding his mother, only to discover that the voodoo sorcerer, Dr. Facilier is preventing her from escaping, revealing he wants her to be his maid. But Ash Ketchum does not like that idea, and nor does Facilier's friends on the other side...

Freeing their master

Bowser and Mistress Nine arrive at Dr. Facilier's voodoo emporium, and ask the Friends on the Other Side to bring Facilier back, in which they reluctantly do.

Vs Peter Pan's crew

Tasked by Queen Grimhilde with rebuilding their forces after the avalanche during their ambush of the resistance forces, Doctor Facilier called on his Friends on the Other Side to help corrupt the shadows of heroes into more shadow demons under his control. The Friends first targeted Peter Pan and Jim Hawkins on their flying ship (though the flight mechanism was still broken, Tinker Bell was able to keep it aloft with her pixie dust), where they worked their magic on Pan, bringing his shadow to life. As Peter tried to get his shadow under control, the Friends menaced Alice and Tinker Bell. Tinker Bell managed to hold them off with her pixie dust, destroying many of the shadow demons. At that moment, Facilier's Shadow arrived to assist the Friends, kicking Tink to the ground. With Alice's help, Peter finally managed to catch his own shadow, but Facilier's shadow started to close in. Just then, Jim Hawkins arrived and destroyed the shadow with a shot from his blaster. Peter then reattached his shadow, regaining control of it.

First Victim

The Friends appear as supporting characters in this tournament. When Odette makes a foolish deal with Doctor Facilier, the voodoo sorcerer performs a musical number, in which the Friends are preseneted, while at the same time transforming Odette into a white swan. Dr. Facilier and the Friends then warn Odette not to rely upon them, remarking the quote, "You got what you wanted, but you lost what you had".

Capturing a King

Later, Dr. Facilier's real master, the Horned King, sends his forces in a sweep attack against the Royal Council's members. During the battle, Dr. Facilier summons several shadow demons, from the Friends, to deal with King Morpheus. This attack proves to be a distraction for Morpheus, as Facilier sneaks up from behind and puts up another trick, as he surrounds Morpheus with dark magic of of the Friends, eventually capturing him and leading him to the dungeons of the Horned King.

Monster Summoners

Later, Dr. Facilier uses some of the Friend's residue magic, to unleash the feral monster, the Backson. Despite it's tries, the Backson falls to Avatar's magic.

Joining Alastor

Dr. Facilier tries to make a deal with The Friends on the Other Side,but they did not liked the voodo wizard's plan.However,a certain radio demon named Alastor arrived with another proposal for The Friends on the Other Side.It's up to the Friends on the Other Side to decide who's offer is better and who is about to be killed.The Friends on the Other Side accepted Alastor's offer,leaving the shadows to kill off Dr.Facilier.

The Voodoo Priest Dr. Facilier has heard about the war against the Decepticons and asks his Friends on the Other Side to give him some Shadow Demons to assist Him.

At Voodoo Emporium, Dr. Facilier tries to convince The Friends on the Other Side to join him, but Mok arrive with the same offer. Who will take the control of The Friends on the Other Side?

Villains Battles 3

Making Facilier new leader

In Mount Olympus, Dr. Facilier gathers the other allies of Maleficent and Hades and informs them that he will take charge of Olympus so to avoid that new threats may try and conquer the mount. The allies as well as the Friends on the Other Side see potential in him, thus accepting him as their new leader in the absence of their bosses. The only thing they must do is to inform Rasputin and Rothbart of their bosses' absence, something that the shadows will do.
