HueyDewey, and Louie Duck are triplet cartoon characters created in 1937 by writer Ted Osborne and cartoonist Al Taliaferro, and are licensed by The Walt Disney Company. Huey, Dewey, and Louie are the nephews of Donald Duck and the grandnephews of Scrooge McDuck. They typically wear shirts with colorful baseball caps that are sometimes used to differentiate between them. The characters have made several animated appearances in both films and television, but comics remain their primary medium.

While the boys were originally created as mischief-makers to provoke their uncle's famous temper, later appearances showed them to be valuable assets to their uncles on their adventures. All three of the boys are members of the fictional Scouting organization, The Junior Woodchucks. The trio appear in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains War and Heroes vs. Villains as supporting players on the side of good.

At School[]

Elsewhere, at an elementary school inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, the students, including the duck Alfred J. Kwak, his friends Ollie, Andy and his brother, the crow Dolf, the bear cub Kit Cloudkicker, Gosalyn Mallard, Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and their friend Webby Vanderquack, were being taught by Professor Owl and a substitute teacher. During the lecture, the substitute teacher told the students about the history of racial prejudice, leaving Dolf concerned about a secret he was keeping from his companions.

Confronting Dolf[]

Back at the elementary school, as the students broke for recess, Alfred, Gosalyn, Cloudkicker, Huey, Louie, and Dewey confronted Dolf, noticing something off about his behavior. Provoked by their questioning, the irritated Dolf lashed out at Alfred, causing a fight between the two. Fortunately, Gosalyn managed to stop their quarrel, knocking Dolf to the ground. As Dolf recovered and prepared for another fight, Alfred and the others noticed Dolf's scratched beak, seeing that he had painted his naturally yellow beak black. Upon being questioned, Dolf broke down in tears, exclaiming that he would be killed if anyone knew his secret. Before anyone could ask him what he meant, he fled.
