The Maggia is a multinational crime syndicate, consisting of various independent crime families. It is a supporting villainous group in the Marvel Universe, with a sizeable presence in its continent of origin, Europe, as well as the United States criminal underworld; a stark contrast to the American Mafia, who had ties with several comic book distributors during the 1960's. They play a minor role in Disney vs Marvel Villains, represented by members of two of its "five families".
