Stanley is a friendly flower-loving troll and the main protagonist of A Troll in Central Park. Having survived an encounter with the wicked Queen Gnorga, Stanley becomes involved in the confilct with Maleficent, Frollo, and the other forces of evil in Heroes vs. Villains.

Stanley was in his house using his magical green thumb to grow plants without the Kingdom of Trolls knowing, but accidently made a giant rose coming out from the window, Prince Froglip along with Gnorga's guards decide to investigate and discover that Stanley has been breaking the laws. Froglip orders them to capture him, but Stanley puts on an armor to fight off against the goblins but was ultimately captured and was sent to be judged by Gnorga. When Stanley was put on trial, Froglip begs Gnorga to let him do all the nasty things to him, but King Llort suggest to banished him to a place where nothing grows, they all agree to this and Gnorga banished Stanley far from the Kingdom of Trolls and landing in New York at Central Park.

Stanley wakes up and finds himself at Central Park after he was being banished, and actually likes this place.
