The Firebird's Volcano is a large crater, that houses the terrible spirit of destruction, known as the Firebird. First appearing in the Disney animated film Fantasia 2000, particularly from the animated segment, The Firebird Suite, the Volcano, and it's eruption impact, is presumed to be based after the eruption of the real life volcano of Mount Saint Helens, one of the most known catastrophic disasters in history's records. The volcano also appears in the villain tournaments context, although in a great minority, with the exception of Disney Heroes vs. Villains War, which appears as one of the minor, yet efficient, locations.

The Volcano was activated by the Firebird's uprising, through the Spring Sprite's powers, and channeled the being's fiery powers into the forest, below the crater. Since then, it remained active, until the Firebird's defeat by Mickey Mouse, and the forest's restoration by the Spring Sprite by the Epilogue of the series.
